Wat Phra Si Sanphet was the holiest temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in
Ayutthaya, located in central Thailand, is a historic city known for its significant cultural and architectural heritage. Once the capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, the city flourished between the 14th and 18th centuries and was a major trading and cultural hub in Southeast Asia. The city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved ruins and historical importance.
